Moss Point, Mississippi · Since 1977
Large or small,
give us a call.
It’s been on the sign out on Hwy 613 for decades, and it’s still exactly how this clinic works: horses, goats, and calves in the morning, dogs and cats all day, and the occasional pig in between — all of them somebody’s family.
Minor emergencies & walk-ins welcome

Patients of the clinic — the large and the small.
Everybody gets seen.
A country clinic keeps a wide door. These are real patients, photographed at the clinic.

The Doctor
Trained big.
Settled here.
Dr. Michael McCoy earned his DVM at Kansas State, interned in Cornell’s large-animal ambulatory unit, and taught at Auburn’s veterinary school, where he took a Master’s in large-animal medicine and surgery. In 1977 he and his wife Karen came to Jackson County, opened this clinic, and raised their family here.
Nearly fifty years later, it’s still his name on the door and still his standard of care inside it.
