Veterinarian & Owner

Michael McCoy, DVM

A Kansas native and Kansas State University veterinary alumnus, Dr. McCoy interned at Cornell University’s large-animal ambulatory unit, then taught at Auburn University’s School of Veterinary Medicine, where he earned a Master’s in large-animal medicine and surgery.

In 1977 he moved to Jackson County with his wife Karen, opened Escatawpa Animal Clinic, and started a family — three boys, and now what they call a gaggle of granddaughters. At home: one pooch, named Reba.
